Disney worker accused of distributing child porn

Rodney Dillon, a security officer who checked bags at Disney's Hollywood Studios, was arrested this morning after an investigation by a statewide Internet pornography task force.

Dillon, 65, is charged with 55 counts of possession of child pornography, including "large quantities of images and videos of child pornography," according to FDLE.

He also faces one charge of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

The names of video files found Dillon's computer include Mafiasex, Underage Lolita and a reference to the rape of an infant, according to the arrest affidavit.

Authorities estimated that "that each of the children in the images and videos charged in this case were less than 12 years of age," wrote FDLE Special Agent Michael Stephenson of the agency's Computer Crime Center.

When investigators searched Dillon's residence off W. Irlo Bronson Highway last week, they also found "numerous 'fantasy' stories regarding the sexual abuse of children," records state.

It could not be learned Thursday how long Dillon had worked for Walt Disney World as a security officer.

A police officer in Largo, a city on Florida's west coast, first identified Dillon last month as a suspected child pornographer when the detective alerted the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The unidentified detective traced pornographic images of children being offered online to Dillon's computer, according to FDLE.
